Women's Ministries

There are always many exciting things happening in the Women's Ministry at Christ Church! We offer great opportunities to serve, grow, worship, reach, and simply getting to know each other… there is something for every woman at any age! Consider joining us for a Bible study, women's retreat, dinner and a movie, a comedy night or a chance to make a difference in our community by serving. Our primary goal is to minister personally to the needs of every woman in the church and throughout the community. WOMEN'S VICTORIAN TEA | Saturday, May 12, 2012 | 2pm | FH-4

Mark your calendar to attend this sixth annual event! Wear a hat, bring your favorite teacup, and bring all your friends (young and old) for an afternoon of specialty teas, gourmet goodies, a great speaker, music and fellowship. Tickets are on sale at the front desk of the church office and at the Connecting Table during all worship services.

WANT TO HELP WITH THE TEA? We need able-bodied volunteers to assist with the decorations on the day of the event, and help with various tasks during the days before the tea. If you'd like to volunteer, please contact Pat Bleech by email or at 954.781.8070.

BRUNCH AND SERVE | Saturday, September 29, 2012 | 10:30am | FH-1

The Women's Ministry Team is sponsoring a brunch and short meditation at the church. We'll then pack boxes for Moms 4 Soldiers, located at 555 SW 12th Ave (Andrews Ave) , #110, Pompano Beach (map). This is a very rewarding as well as fun project, and we encourage women to attend. Further details will be forthcoming.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING EVENT | Sunday, December 2, 2012 | 3pm

Get in the holiday spirit! Be part of our third annual visit to bring joy to the residents of Seaview Nursing Home, located at 2401 NE 2nd Street, Pompano Beach (map). You don't need a great voice—just some good ole' fashioned Christmas spirit and a heart for spreading Christmas joy. This is always a great time for all!

Moms in Touch is a group of women that gather together each week to pray for all God's children, their own as well as the children living in their community and around the world, and those who influence and nurture children—schools, teachers, coaches, etc. For more information, please contact Martha Luzinski at 954.492.8695.
