Walk To Emmaus

We are rejuvenating and reconnecting our Emmaus community here at Christ Church—rebuilding our database and reaching out to all those who have attended a fourth day retreat. As you may or may not know, the Walk to Emmaus is an international ministry sponsored by The Upper Room. The name Walk to Emmaus comes from Luke 24, when the risen Christ joined two people on the road to Emmaus, discussing The Scriptures and the life of faith with them. The Walk to Emmaus is a three day experience held at the Duncan Center in Delray Beach, Florida, led by both lay and clergy volunteers. The days are full of teaching, singing, prayer, discussion, and plenty of food! Walk to Emmaus is designed to strengthen Christian faith, and develop Christian leaders who will serve their local churches, families, communities, and the world. We look forward to reuniting our community and reconnecting with our Emmaus roots here at Christ Church!
